Why did the Sausage Cross the Road? To Remind Drivers of State Law: Yield to Pedestrians in a Crosswalk. Come cross the street safely with a Klements Racing Sausage. Mayor Barrett and the Klements Racing Brat will kick off the week on Monday on Wisconsin Ave. at the Riverwalk crosswalk. We will have a sausage a day and some favorite Milwaukee sports team mascots working at other crosswalks around the city each day. See below for locations and time.
